1960\'s evening bag with amber-coloured bakelite chain and clasp. I believe the body is lambskin but I am not 100% sure. It\'s extremely light and one side has been embossed with a ribbed pattern. The colour is a very deep navy/teal, almost black. The inside is black and appears to be some sort of polished cotton. The mark M\\6 is embossed inside the clasp. The label reads \"MADE IN ITALY. DICKINS AND JONES. REGENT STREET\".Dickins and Jones was a high-quality department store in London which traded from 1835-2007 - the name is now a fashion brand at the House of Fraser.Condition is very good. The interior has some small dusty marks and there is one scuff on the exterior which I have pictured. The chain shows signs of wear around where the links join.Please feel free to ask any questions.
