This tooth is at a rarity level that keeps the few of them that exist in private collections never to see the light of day or your show case. If a collector decides to sell a tooth like this it\'s usually done privately, not offered to the general public. Chile does not allow export of fossils, making them even harder to get. Here\'s your chance at one. It is a very symmetrical \'V\' shaped tooth with only 3/100 of an inch difference in bilateral slant lengths, Very close on a 2\" tooth, but absolutely amazing on a monster meg like this! It is 6.55 and 6.52. It is a big, heavy brick of a tooth and weighs 1 lb. 3 oz. It has decent serrations that are still sharp and a good tip that has been reattached. The tooth was found in hard rock matrix and was either broken in situ, or it broke during it\'s removal from the matrix into two pieces which went back together quite well. There is a small amount of restoration amounting to less than the area of a dime in total. It has been buffed to bring back the shine after the matrix removal. This is an opportunity to own an exceptionally rare specimen from an impossible location for a fraction of the price of a perfect one IF you could ever find one.Includes All display items shown which are the glass cover, Megalodon custom stand and Information card
