One of a Kind (OOAK) repaint/restyle doll
For your consideration is a One of a Kind (OOAK) repaint of Disney Store\'s 13\" Mad Hatter doll. His factory paint was removed and his face repainted with artist quality acrylics, pastels and watercolor. Special attention was given to the eyes to recreate the special effects and enhancements to Johnny Depp\'s Mad Hatter character. For example, his eyes are enlarged (this was a CGI effect) and his contacts were painted slightly different colors and one slightly off center to give him a wild-eyed stare. The mismatched eyeshadow (left eye is blue, right eye is purple) also reflects his character. The factory hair was long and in ringlets; I cut it and teased it out to more closely reflect his actual movie hair. Eyebrows were also trimmed for the same reasons. His face has been sealed first with a semigloss and then two layers of matte sealant to give his skin an otherworldly shine. He will come with his original box and an artist COA.
