This wonderful piece of Disney animation history is a photo copy reproduction and measures 11\" x 17\". Roger Rabbit had two animation units; one in London and one in Los Angeles (Flower St. Glendale, Calif). The L.A. unit was run by Dale Baer. When the L.A. Unit was starting up, RICHARD WILLIAMS (Animation Director) came out to L.A. from London to help train the animators how to draw Roger. Richard sat behind an animation desk while the animators would huddle around him watching how he drew Roger, using a black, thin sharpie pen. Yes, he used a pen...Yes, these are Richard Williams Roger Rabbit sketches.However, this is a PHOTO COPY of his original pen drawings. These are NOT a series of original pen drawings.These Roger drawings were later used for model sheet mock-ups.FYI: MODEL SHEETS ARE CREATED DURING SHOW PRODUCTION WITH
HAND DRAWN IMAGERY THAT IS THEN PHOTO COPIED SO THAT IDENTICAL
STANDARDS ARE DISTRIBUTED TO ALL ANIMATORS. THESE DRAWINGS ARE GOOD REFERENCE FOR AN ANIMATION ART STUDENT, RESEARCH, TEACHER, DISPLAY, PRESENTATION, FOR STUDY, A GOOD LEARNING TOOL OR JUST TO HAVE FOR FUN!
