Miniature Quarter Scale Victorian Book, Dolly\'s Painting BookThis is a reproduction, 1/48\" scale miniature book that I have reproduced from the original. My original book was published by Raphael Tuck & sons, Co. as part of the Father Tuck Artist series printed in England before 1893 when they were granted a Royal Warrant by Queen Victoria.For this tiny miniature version I have chosen sixteen of the wonderful printed pages. So many of the original pages were blank for practise painting. This small book measures 1/4\" x 3/16\". I have added a spine to identify this book on a book shelf. There are two pages with crayoning by quite a young artist and another older artist. I have left the colouring on the pages because it looks so interesting to see the artwork in miniature. In the black and white illustrations there is a great cat by Louis Wain, fairies and a young girl taking photos of her baby sister and brother. Included in the coloured pages is a lovely tabby kitten that looks so much like my cat. I\'ve also included a photo with the 1/12\" scale version of this book to show it\'s size a bit better. The accessories and 1/12\" scale book are not included. This would be a lovely book for a garden scene.
