Vintage rare mechanical wind Doxa men\'s dress watch
from 1970\'s
Original,beautiful, immaculate striking dial
Acrylic crystal has some scratches that can be buffed out
Case Size:35mm(without crown)
Movement: Mechanical hand winding
Case: Gold plate ~ signed stainless steel back
Movement runs strong & accurate
Crown winds & sets smoothly
Because the bezel doesn\'t cover much of the dial, the watch plays much larger on the wrist than 35mmBECAUSE OLDER, VINTAGE, WRISTWATCHES WERE MADE SMALLER THAN WATCHES MADE TODAY, MEN OR WOMEN CAN WEAR THIS AND WOULD LOOK FABULOUS.Vintage watches may gain or lose a small amount of time per day as they do not keep quartz accuracy. Also, because most vintage watches being offered are between 40-70 years old, small imperfections, scratches, and wear are to be expected.
A Word About Mechanical Watches:All mechanical watches, whether manual or automatic wind, will need periodic servicing simply due to the friction of its moving parts. Generally, I do not know the service history of pre-owned watches I sell unless I have had the watch serviced and noted in the listing. I time all watches for at least 24 hours prior to listing and 12 hours prior to shipment. If it doesn\'t maintain acceptable accuracy I don\'t list it or I won\'t ship it and the buyer will receive a refund.
