Very pretty reticulated and hand decorated two handled compote made by the Carl Thieme porcelain factory in Dresden, Saxony.
Intricately decorated with hand made and applied flowers all around the reticulated bowl and on the 4 sides of the pedestal base.
Hand painted bouquet of flowers on the interior of the bowl.
All finished off with gilt highlights on the interior and exterior of the bowl and the 4 footed pedestal.
The base is fixed in place with a metal screw, visible only underneath (see final picture).
In very good condition with only minor damage to one of the applied flowers.
The compote stands 8 3/4 inches high and is 6 1/2 inches wide.
Marked on the base with the Carl Thieme Dresden backstamp, used around the early 1900\'s.
