For your consideration, a lovely, small comport made at Dresden, hand painted and carrying an early mark for the Carl Thieme decorating studio. It features reticulated borders on the plate and the foot, lovely, light pastel coloring at the rims, and floral sprigs and rich gilding, surrounding a central scene of a courting couple.
