Inspired by Robert Dudley, the celebrated courtier and alleged secret lover of Queen Elizabeth I, this handmade two-tone English Pewter pendant depicts a magnificent, rapier-style sword. An amethyst colored Swarovski crystal decorates the hilt of the sword. Measuring approximately 5 1/4\" long, Dudley\'s Jewel is large and impressive pendant. The pendant comes on a 32\" continuous, nickel-free pewter chain (there is no clasp). Please note: This pendant is no longer in production.Magickal Symbolism/Purpose:The sword isthe elemental weapon of either Air or Fire depending on the magickal tradition. In High Magick, the sword is also one of the four symbols of Geburah, the fifth sephiroth, sphere of Mars, and realm of the Greater Adept. Swords are often used in magickal ritual. Dudley\'s Jewel would make an impressive piece of ritual jewelry.
