This listing is for a Solid 9ct /9K Gold Dunhill Unique A petrol pocket lighter. This is an unusually fine lighter that was made in England and bears Londonhallmarksfor 1947. The whole of this lighter, apart from the flint wheel and springs, is solid Gold rather than just having a Gold jacket. The cap bears Gold hallmarks as well as the body, in two places, and the fuel filler screw. Even the spare flint holder in the fuel filler screw has a separate Gold hallmark.This solid Gold lighter weighs 41.6g (1.47 ounces) and it measures 45mm (1.77”) tall x 37.5mm (1.48”) wide x 12mm (0.47”) thick.

This lighter is in fine, fully working condition and has a very attractive engine-turned body. Unusually, for a Gold lighter that is almost 70 years old, there are no dents or seriousScratches. There are some light scratchesand general signs of use but overall, this a very collectable handsome lighter.
