These photos are a vet pic up in 1945. They are 100%original period prints and are 7.5 x 5 inches, Black and White gloss with adescription in German glued to the back. I believe they are for a “CigaretteCard Album”. As you bought cigarettes you would get the photos to put in apromotional album provided by the cigarette company. The label on the backstates the album name in this case “Deutschland Erwacht”, translated “GermanyAwake”. A description of the photo and a number for a designated place in thealbum is also on the label. Some are just copies of period press releasephotos. Others are more unique.

Note: Features a KRIEGSMARINE, German Navy, E Boot. Described as \"Fast Boat the Greyhound of the sea.\"

I did not use the best quality for scanning the photos in order todiscourage pirating.
