E. H. Wachs vertical stationary steam engine completely rebuilt by machinist and it should be ready to go. 5\" bore x 6\" stroke, sleeve valve, steam chest is divorced from the crankcase (no steam should enter the crankcase), cylinder, piston and valve did not need any work and are original, 1 1/4 \" inlet port, the work I did was weld up the crankshaft and had ground on automotive crank grinder, bearings hand scraped to fit crank, 20 gallon oil reservoir in base, drip oil system that has pump and oils all moving parts inside crankcase. 57 inches tall, 24 x 24 base, 26\" flywheel, 1 15/16 shaft, unit probably weights around 700 pounds. There are lots of parts included and it\'s ready to be plumbed to a boiler.
Parts included are: force feed oiler, NEW 1\" fly ball governor, gauges, valves, some belting, water injector, 150# flanges, pulley, the flange with 3 pins goes on the other end of the crankshaft for flexible coupling. This unit can power things like a saw mill, line shaft, water pump, generator, grinder, anything that needs rotary power. From what i have learned this should be about 10 real horsepower.
