Antique EAPG Duncan & Sons Covered Sugar Bowl in the BUTTON ARCHES pattern c.1897, sold \"AS IS\".

The sugar bowl itself is in good antique condition with a small flake and a couple tiny fleabites at the rim. We believe it may have been trimmed in gold at one time, as there is a barely visible 3/16\" \"ring\" on the circumference, about 1\" from the rim. The lid, however, is damaged. It has been chipped at the rim, and there are twocracks,radiating from the chip to the other side of the rim. It is, however,fully intact (except for the chip itself)and shows no sign of repair. Pleaserefer to photos.The damage is contained to one half of thelid,and if placed to the back the damage is not noticeable.

The bowl itself measures 3 7/8\" tall by 4\" wide. With the lid, the piece is 6 5/8\" tall.

This sugar bowl is so lovely and such a nice example of Early American Pattern Glass.
