The compote is 7 inches across and stands approximately 7 .5 inches tall .
The pedestal is approximately half of the height
A vintage pressed glass compote in the Moon and Stars pattern.
This compote was made by the L E Smith Company.
The footed compote has the thumbprint pattern with a serrated edge at the circumference of the body along with rows of imprinted stars.
The pattern was introduced in the 1800s. A gorgeous piece that sparkles in the light.
