You are Looking at a Bakhtiyari Tribal Namakdan Saltbag. A container which the tribes had with them , to carry nuts , salt , etc. Made in the Sumakh technique( Weft Brocading). Floating Diamonds containing hooks on a dark blue background highlighted in Red . Great Diamonds in the border. There is a very nice light green . The Bottom of the piece has Pile, probably made to make it stronger. I would date the piece to the 1920\'ies. A great Display Piece.
