Thetype of movement on this clock indicates that it is anearlydesign produced by the Norfolk company
“Metamec”,datingfrom the late 1940’s. The clock is veneered in walnutwith separatecast brassnumerals and brass
hands. Althoughdating from the late 40’s the clock has a typical “art deco”feel to the design.
Thecase of the movement is Bakelite and there is a convexglass held in place by a brassbezel accessedby four
nuts from behind.
Themovement runs butstops after a short time soI am selling af (“asfound”).
