A solid silver early Victorian Communion Chalice.
It stands 3 1/8\" or 8cm tall and measures 1 3/4\" or 4.5cm across the rim.
Weight is 51 grams.
Of typical chalice form with knopped stem on a circular base. The interior is gilded.
Engraved crest of Cross and -\'IHS\' within sunburst outline.
Fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1838. Maker\'s mark of Joseph Willmore.
In excellent condition without damage or fault. Gilding is intact. Engraving is crisp. Bright and clean.
