Esso Blotter – This colorful blotter shows an owl with theslogan “You’re Wise When You Save That Car” and “Esso Care Saves Wear”. It was given out by Ray Teets Garage inOakland, Maryland in 1946 with a handy calendar for March, April and May. The blotter measures 8 ½ x 3 ¾ inches. Esso was the precursor of Exxon. The blotter was lightly used as can be seen in thescan of the back, but it does have several creases – one vertical on the left sideand a couple semi-circular about the middle so please be aware before offerding.
