Offered for your consideration with this sale is this wonderful and large...big..Italian ESTATE Solid Brass Door Knocker of a more classic traditional style.This piece is not only gorgeous but makes a statement when one approaches your door entrance.It does have a hallmark with a GRA ascribed inside a diamond shape.It has been mounted on an old piece of wood for picture and viewing purposes as seen in photo.It is in excellent condition with its wonderful patina.It measures approximately 6 1/2\" in overall length and 4\" at it widest width.The knocker is approximately 2 1/2\" to 2 3/4\" in depth.This is very substantial piece that would make anyone stop and take notice......The bolt pattern for the mounting screws measures approximately 3 3/4\" center to center as seen in photo.This is an Estate piece from a home in Martha\'s Vineyard..........
