This gorgeous Russian lacquer box is one of several I will be listing.I\'ve been told by a fellow er that this box was made in the village of Kholyi, it is signed and dated 1999, and is called \"Waiting\". It was part of my departed mother\'s collection. I can tell you it is in flawless condition. It has never been displayed and came from a smoke-free home. There are no chips or scratches. Pictures do not capture the beauty of this box. Touches of gold adorn this elegant maiden\'s dress making it shimmer. It is approximately5\" x 2 1/2\" by1 3/4\"high.
