ESTATE SALE: STUNNING UNIQUE LARGE HAMMERED BRASS/COPPER TALL CONTAINER WITH ACORN LID EXCELLENT CONDITION

This was purchased at a large local estate sale, listed as \"old metal canister\"...I believe it is bronze, copper and brass - be sure to look at all the pictures!

A large, tall, unique, stunning and simply beautiful item - not sure what is was used for!

The lid is very, very heavy with an \"acorn sculptured knob\" the acorn itself is copper I believe; the rest of the lid is either brass or bronze because of the weight- the body of the container is rectangular in shape and a little lighter in weightand has a hammered design all the way around-it is either brass or copper I believe.

It stands 12 inches tall from base to lid; body of container 5 x 4 inches square; base is 5.5 x 4.5 inches. Bottom has sticker \"Made in India\".
