GREAT CENTERPIECE BOWL FOR ANY SEASON!!

This stunning pedestal bowl from India is very large and surprisingly heavy! This is an estate sale purchase and a quality piece. The top half of this bowl is ornate art and the bottom half, as well as all of the bowl, has been hammered. The pedestal is smooth.

It is very unique in that, although brass, the sticker on the bottom reads: \"This elegant piece of solidbrass has been specially treated to give it the look of antique silver and has been lacquered coated. Do not apply any cleaner - wipe with damp cloth.\" It is also marked \"Not for Food Use - Made in India\"

It measures: A little over 8 inches high, the bowl opening is 11 inches, the pedestal base is 5-1/4 inches across; the diameter (around) of the bowl is approximately 28 inches.
