Here is an salefor Very Clean Zeiss Ikon Contax IIa with 1:1.5/50mm Sonnar Lens and it’soriginal case. This one person owner and well taken care. Pat. date is around1953. This Contax IIa is the cleanest camera I have seen for long time. It isalmost mint. There are few fine marks on the base plate but hard to see. The topsection of this camera body is spotless, with no wear.

Camera Body is inBeautiful condition cosmetically and mechanically sound.

Mechanical Problem: None, Shutterspeeds have been “Tested” and are working and sound good. (1 sec. sounds like 1sec.) Serial #Y57455. Focus is smooth and aperture setting are working.

Optic/Glass: None, The glass is great condition and showsno defects such as fog, separation, fungus or etc. There are no oil on apertureblades, as I can see. The rangefinder is bright and clear and working. Note: I havenoticed a few specks of dirt inside the lens (Not bad) and this can be cleaned.Ser. # on lens is 1165755.
