This is a Conway Stewart 86L fountain pen in a Green Pearl and Black Herringbone which dates from the 1950\'s. It has a capped length of 13.7cm and is a lever-filler with gold-plated trim.

The barrel imprint reads \'Conway Stewart 85L\'. Made in England\'. The lever bears the CS logo and the imprint on the Medium nib reads \'Conway. 14ct Gold. 3\'. It can be seen that the cap has a single band and the diamond-pointed clip bears the CS logo.

The pen is in lovely condition. There are no cracks, scratches or dings, the barrel imprint is well defined and there is very minimal surface wear. There is no wear or brassing to the trim and the nib is excellent.

I have overhauled the pen and replaced the sac. The lever operation is smooth, the pen fills nicely and writes well.

This is a good-sized pen in a lovely pattern, fully functional and in super condition. It would enhance any collection and I\'m sure that the buyer will be delighted with it. As always, however, a full refund will be offered if he/she is not completely satisfied with the purchase.
