Absolutely Breathtaking! Out of a high end estate, this lady seemed to have a taste for beautiful OLD pieces. This is a brass ash keeper. GORGEOUS and very well detailed as seen in photos. It has the North Wind or Devil type figure on the front and back- 2 Winged type Griffin figures on each end. Claw feet- even the ends are decorative. Inside is a copper box with ring handles which I am sure was for ashes. Very Very Ornate piece. Measures prox. 20 1/2\" long from handle to handle-10\" deep, it has a belly to it and prox. 10\" tall. I find no makers marks on this piece. IT IS HEAVY, GORGEOUS and I think a person would go a LONG way to find one as pretty and as TERMS: PLEASE PAY PROMPTLY.
