DUE TO TOO CHRONIC NON-PAYING offerS, NO MORE offerS ACCEPTED FROM BRAZIL & VIETNAM.Stunning looking and completely restored pair of Dynaco MK III power amps (aka mono blocks). (new 550v/600v filter can caps, paper in oil & polypropylene coupling caps, selenium rectifiers replaced with safe diodes, small value caps are silver micas, bias electrolytic are Sprague atom, new on/off switches, new NOS RCA jacks. etc. etc. Biases right on specs. All components were removed, chages, bottom plates, transformer bells, and cages professionally powder coated a satin black. Brand new bare black circuit boards were used but 100% original circuitry (no \"mod ). This is restored to what dyna\'s people intended.

Tubes are -- Two brand new Sovtek 5Ar4/GZ 34, brand new factory matched quad of Elerectro Harmonix 6550, out-of-the box NOS vintage RCA 6AN8s.Bottom plates are included as well as cages. See pictures for details.

The Mark III uses a novel and simple circuit. A pentode voltage amplifier, with parameters adjusted for minimum distortion, is directly coupled to a cathodyne phase inverter. High frequency compensation is employed in a capacitive response loop, which corrects the inherent unbalance of this type of phase inverter. The inverter drives the output tubes which are operated with fixed bias. The connection of the output tubes includes a small percentage of screen loading which improves the regulation of the stage and makes it comparatively uncritical of load impedance. The impedance match and bias conditions utilized in the output stage provide minimum distortion operation over a very wide dynamic range. In addition, 20 dB of negative response lowers the distortion to an unmeasurable proportion at normal listening levels and to less than 1% IM at 60 watts output.
Phase compensation at both high and low frequencies is incorporated into the circuit arrangement to provide a wide margin of stability and to make construction uncritical. This feature of the design means that there is no tendency toward motorboating or oscillation under and conditions of use.
