Up for sale with is an exceptionally rarec1890 English Cameo Glass Vase with Floral Landscape. The Vase is fresh from a very fine Estate collection of Art Glass. The collection was amassed 30-60 years ago so I am confident all the pieces are good and legitimate old examples. This Estate housed the finest collection of Art Glass I have ever personally seen, including Galle, Daum Nancy, Loetz, Moser, Murano, Steuben and many more examples of Thomas Webb Cameo Glass. As my sales have run for 14 years here on , all items are sold with Absolutely s and no buyer\'s premiums unlike most sale houses these days!

This sale is for arare and exceptional quality Victorian EnglishCameo Cut Art Glass Vase. A few examples from this collection being offered are marked Thomas Webb. Several others including this vase are unsigned. I am told a large majority of Webb vases were never signed and that most of the Cameo vases being offered are Webb. There are a few other period makers like Stevens & Williams etc. that also made similar examples. Seeing I am not a later 19th century Cameo glass expert I will ultimately let you determine the maker for yourself. I obviously do guarantee authenticity of antique age. The Vase is composed ofthree layers of glass, masterfully carved into a white floral landscape atop aBurmese Pink shading to Yellowground and white inside. The Vase is of exceptional quality which also serves as a favorable indicator the vase was produced by Thomas Webb.

The Vase displays beautifully showing minor wear mainly to the base portion consistent with antique age. The vase is otherwise in very fine condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or inside staining. The Vase is a lovely size for display measuring7-1/4 inches tall by4-1/2 inches wide across thebody portion or1 inch wide across the top. This Vase is an exceptionallyrare find and I doubt you will see another like it, especially up for sale with !
