EXQUISITE ANTIQUE FRENCH TOLEWARE LEAVES MIRROR WAX CROWN MARRIAGE DOME c1880Part of a marriage crown dome display, pretty gold toleware edged mirror surrounded by 9 leaves which are moveable with their wire fixings, intertwined with a wax budded marriage crown. The crown and sometimes part of the bouquet were saved and preserved under a glass dome along with the gold toleware leaves and mirrors in order to catch candle light - how romantic! Remnants of small fixing wire attached - it would make the perfect topping for a vintage style wedding cake, add to a special picture frame, re-purpose etc. No chips or cracks to the mirror, the gold leaves and flowers have dulled over the passage of time - please see all photographs
