EXCEPTIONAL and VERY FINELY CRAFTED & DETAILED signed KJL for Kenneth Jay Lane circa 1970\'s or possibly 1980\'s era brooch in an exotic, Egyptian Revival fully jeweled TURTLE design. Stunning use of color and texture on this exquisite, high end pin ~ just as bright & FLAWLESS as the photos show; what really catches the eye is the gorgeous, rich, royal matte/brushed gold gilt setting, plated in 18/22kt GP. Features large all glass faux LAPIS cabochons with the look of real (variations in lapis shade, as genuine lapis would have); accented with all glass crystals.. Jaw-dropping in person! Very reminiscent of the exotic, insect and bug pieces from David Webb Jewelry ~ with the look of real, fine jewelry!
