EXTREMELY RARE 1986 IRISH COIN SET IRELAND halfpenny penny2 5 10 20 50 pence1986 Central Bank year set in blister pack folder,brilliant unc. Some leakage of gum from edges of pack asusual.Contains3 Very Scarce Modern coins.In 1986 the Central Bank produced a specimen set ofnormally struck uncirculated coins (often incorrectly referred toas proofs) to coincide with the introduction of the 20 pence coin.As not all denominations were required in circulation quantitiesthe halfpenny, the 10 pence and the 50 pence were only minted insmall quantities to facilitate the production of these sets. Thesedenominations and the sets containing them are consequentlyscarce.The 1986 set was a departure in that the set is sealed sothe coins cannot be readily removed - unfortunately the glue usedtends to remain sticky and many sets have been impaired by glueleaking out of either the top or the bottom of thefolder.Condition: please, see the pictures and you can ask anyquestions if requiredYou will get exactly the same coinset as you see in thepicture.Please let me know if you need more pictures or if you have anyquestions.
