antique 1/6th Sixth Plate Ambrotype image of Post Mortem of a young girl with open eyes in half pressed cardboard case having a sealed back that appears original to image with original interior decorated marbled paper mat. Case measures 3-1/8 x 3-5/8 and image is in very good as found condition with case cracked at corners, acquired from estate in central Indiana. My first thought is ambro but being sealed I cannot say for certain but backside does not appear to be a Dag plate, Nice Image!
