Early 17\" Cloth Kathe Kruse Doll I Signed on Foot Beautiful Boy Doll circa 1915 No RepaintThis is a wonderful early Kathe Kruse Doll I with wide hips, and sewn on thumbs. This is the first doll Kathe Kruse Made with the wide hips.The paint is all original, featuring brown eyes, rosy cheeks, and brown painted hair. The head has three seams in the back and sculpted ears. The body shows the intricate multiple seams of the early dolls. On the left foot is the original signature reading, Kathe Kruse. There are some rough areas on the feet and one hand, otherwise the body is in good condition.
This appealing toddler wears an original typical long shirt with braid trim over matching short pants.
