Sugar tongs in a rather unusual style marked :
\"G. Baker\"
George Baker was an active silversmith in Providence RI from 1811 to 1850 so these are at least as old as 1850. Piece is marked with a monogram I can\'t quite make out.
Piece measures just about 5&7/8ths inches long which is pretty big for sugar tongs. They weigh 1.2 ounces on my postal scale which claims to be accurate to .2 of an ounce.

Piece is in very good to excellent condition. There are some slight nicks and scratches but overall excellent condition.

Piece will need to be thoroughly polished when buyer receives it.
