[4], xxi, [1], 404pp. Illustrations. Brown leather binding with blind stamped tooled borders on covers. 4 raised bands on spine with gilt stamped red leather label on spine. Significant wear and rubs to leather binding. Title label on spine is worn. Light scattered foxing to pages. Book includes several hand written manuscript pages and several unused blank lined sheets.

On the front yellow paste down in pencil is a presentation; \"A Present to C J Hill by W. Boykin.\" Below the inscription is a second presentation; \"A Present to Wm. H. Bell By P? Hill 1906.\" The right front yellow end sheet is missing. The first front blank end sheet has the name Wm. A. Boykin, King William Co. written in light pencil. This sheet is detached and laid inside. The second front blank end sheet has the pencil name \"Wm. G. Sallee, Committee on England\" written top of page. The third front blank end sheet has names written in pencil and is torn with a section missing. The fourth front blank end sheet has a presentation \"to S H Boykin by William Manly\" in light pencil. Below that inscription is a second presentation; \"Presented to W H Bell by C. J. Hill March 8th, 1906.\" The rear yellow end sheets are present with the name Mr. Boykin in pencil on the rear paste down. The blank and used lined sheets are not page numbered. Dates recorded for several of the used pages are from 1854-56. The majority of the lined pages in the text are unused. The first pages with writing are 5 pages describing Masonry between pages 166 and 167. Other pages with writing cover resolutions and reports of proceedings.

A list of the pages with writing and their location are as follows; 3 pages between 236 and 237; 1 page after 238; 2 pages before 239; 7 pages after 240; 1 page before 243; 4 pages after 244; 1 page before 263; 1 page after 268; 6 pages before 277; 6 pages before 279; 1 page after 280; 1 page before 287; 1 page after 288; 2 pages after 289; 1 page after 292, next blank page torn out; 1 page after 300; rear blank end sheet torn out.
