This is a very nice all-original 7.5\' long including handle. Samson 3 piece steel rod by Union Hardware Co. Torrington Conn. U.S.A. All this information is marked in the reel seat. This is a very light action long steel rod that is in excellent condition and has all the original guides, hardware, and brass ferrels. It has the original cork handle, which remains in excellent condition. Some pain loss over all good. If you collect the early steel rods this is a good one to put away! These older type steel rods from the turn-of-the-century are becoming more collectible and harder to find, especially ones in this condition. If you collect early fishing rods or would like to try to land a trout on an ultra-light steel rod then this is for you.
