I have several lots of these unused light bulbs / lamp bulbs which were all recently found together in a box in a home cleared for the first time in over a hundred years - ALL SOLD AS USED
Exact date unknown -Early 20th C. / Edwardian / WW1 era
These may have been issued to Royal Navy as all have Kings Crown Anchor emblem etched on rear of bulb - Oval with Anchor and Kings Crown on top

Plain paper outer packet is faded and grubby at edges- corrugated card to inner
Bayonet fit glass bulb - approx. 9cm long with spike to tip - I assume from glass manufacture
Has \'POPE\' British made 100 etched to outer
Looks like clear bulb that has been dipped in colour - some colour build up / patches and crazing.
Royal Navy emblem etched to rear ?These may have been issued to Royal Navy as all have Kings Crown Anchor emblem etched on rear of bulb - Oval with Anchor and Kings Crown on top

Lamp / bulb appears to be unused - must be 100 years old
