EARLY ARTS AND CRAFTS WALRICH VASE FROM 1915-1925, AMERICAN POTTERY . THE VASE IS A VERY NICE BLUE WITH RED GLAZE UNDERTONES, HTF PIECE OF POTTERY.

NO CRACKS, CHIPS, CRAZING OR REPAIRS.

5 1/2”TALL AND 3 3/4”AT WIDEST POINT.

WALRICH POTTERY was owned by James and Gertrude Wall. It was first listed in Berkeley, California. Gertrude Wall was an art teacher in the Midwest and began working in California in 1912. James worked at the Doulton works in England before he moved to the United States.

Walrich was small and made a variety of pottery items. The pottery used a variety of matte glazes but specialized in blue. Many pieces were glazed in a single color, this vase is a two glaze vase.
