Gaudy japan pattern in characteristic underglaze blue & overglaze orange-red & gilt with the addition of green for the leaves. Two cobalt blue ground tablet reserves with elaborate gilt scrolling & 3 five petal orange-red flowers. Ovoid shape with angular beaded handle.
By hand red script \"F\" & \"8324\" on bottom. Also a blue by hand \"T\" near footrim. Natural wear to gilt top rim edge & handle. Visible line on bottom underglaze & does not go through nor can it be felt thru the glaze.
No hairlines, no cracks, no chips. Clean fine condition.
