The brass overall is in great condition, hardly any rust, it can use fine detail professional cleaning and polishing as well as lubricating the moving parts, they are a little stiff, doubt it was used much lately. Somebody loved this lamp and probably put it away safely, no kids to destroy it for sure : )

Leather handle wraps: One was missing but I had one special made, the two original are very solid and not falling apart like I\'ve seen others on lamps from the same period, no cracks on the leather either. The one in middle post above the switch is in great condition as well, other than normal wear for an item this old.

Metal Shades: It looks like the white painting is original (not shiny) a couple of minor surface scratches here and there, no dents, see pictures. Small cosmetic touch up paint restoration and voila ! good as new.

Minus\':

Two of the brass finials holding the leather at the end of the swivel arms are missing, I only have ONE see pictures. A good Metal Technician, with the right equipment can easily replicate them, I already consulted one in my area, he estimated labor time equals to half hour per part plus material but I was told collectors want to do their own restorations so it\'s offered as is -one finial only-(I factored in the cost of them on the price already)

One of the brown leather covers is a new replacement, done by a local cordwainer, very close replica but you should know is new.

The top of the Marble base has one small chip, the bottom has a few tiny chips but is expected from moving the lamp around for 50 years plus, see pictures. No cracks or stains on the marble

As for the total height is difficult to estimate, arms are movable so depending on one position we are talking about .. its very impressive nice size lamp.

I prefer pick up at my location or I could hand deliver it for free within no more than 100 miles (easily cover San Francisco delivery) .. I\'ll consider LA or Palm Springs, San Diego, Sacramento for a reasonable fee (I have a pickup truck)

IF you must have it shipped somewhere within the continental USA or International it has to be a door to door delivery fully insured and the end user is responsible for cost and or damages after it leaves my place. Understand is one of a kind irreplaceable item. I heard horror stories from shippers braking valuable irreplaceable items for a friend of mine, I can\'t take chances.
