Early Ming Chinese ginger jar with calligraphy, 15th c. ? :

About 13cm wide and 10cm high. Excellent antique condition. Crusty dust. Hint of modern paint drips, white. Uneven part around one side of outer lower rim- Is it damage? I \'think\' it\'s just the rough finish for this humble container- see photos. Gloss glaze.
