4 vintage Oaxacan animal wood carvings. These examples look like the early work of Manuel Jimenez, the originator of this popular folk art form. They are in good vintage condition. The lion is missing his tail and the dog has some small cracks (as pictured) where the back, right leg is attached. The Lion measures about 7.5\" long and 5\" tall. The dog measures almost 9\" long including it\'s tail and 4\" tall. The owl is 5\" tall and the 4th animal has a splash of white paint on one side is 7\" long w/tail and 4\" tall.
