A lovely example from the early years of Perthshire glassmaking, this one from 1970. A single pink lampwork dragonfly with white latticino wings and eyes of black floats over a clear ground, surrounded by a garland of complex millefiori canes. The white wings are finely made, the lower set marked with a black spot. The garland of canes are pastel pink and mauve, with pink/white/green central whorls. This 1970A edition was made in varying colours and in a limited edition of 500/500. This example is scratch-signed on the base P1970. The base is slightly concave and polished. Approx. Diameter: 2 1/4\" Approx. Height: 1 3/4\"The condition is excellent. There are no chips, scratches, bruises or other damage to the dome. PayPal is required for all shipments.
