You\'re offerding on an antique small - 3\" X 4\" - pen and ink silhouette sketch portrait. The face, in silhouette, appears to be of a boy or young man. The torso and cap are ink line drawing, and the cap is distinctively colored green, as is one line of detail on the neck-kerchief tie. It looks as though it may be some type of uniform - I\'m guessing a school or club uniform based on the apparent age of the subject, but I have had no luck in research.
It has an early-to-mid 19th century vibe about it - it\'s encased under glass in what appears to be an old hand-made case out of what reminds me of thin bindery leather - it must have been in an earlier form of presentation because - unfortunately - there was some kind of inscription along the bottom that is mostly gone due it adhering to something and pulling away.
