Brunette Gingham Sasha Doll with Star Pupils!

Up for sale is this
Rare 1969 16 in / 40.6cm Brunette Sasha Doll with Dark Skin &Painted Brown EyesWith Star Pupils.
She has been re-dress in a
(hand made from Sasha Pattern) 70s type dress.
with an under shirt & matching undies.
She is nice, clean & in wonderful condition.She is model number 4-103.
Her stringing is loose.
I am not sure if her strings have ever been replaced but
now she has white striped arms & leg strings.
She has bikini mold lines.Originally Designed By The Famous
Swiss Doll Artist Sasha Morgenthaler,
She was produced in England By The Doggets, of Trendon Toys Of ReddishStockport England, usingSasha Morgenthaler\'s artistic specifications &
high quality standards.

Sasha looks so cute in her cream & rose dressThis lovely little dress has a cream bodice & rose colored skate skirt, with cap sleeves & matching undies. She wears a long white sleeve shirt & has her original soft white leather shoes & socks.She is has no tube & she is missing her circle wrist tag.This Sasha has beautiful brown hand painted eyes with star pupilsand delicately hand painted features with pale peach lips.She has very shiny hair.I have heard that early brunette hair dolls can havefalling hair, well, I tugged on her hair & nothing came out.So currently her hair is not falling & she has no missing plugs I needed to comb the tangled out of her hair & she hadsome hair in the brush but it was not alot.She has full long brunette hair that has not been cut. She has full bangs and a partial center-partShe is of darker skin then the more modern Sashas.She has a jointed body(In my opinion Sasha dolls were one of the best modern dolls ever made and they represent all nationalities in one doll.)

Theyretired and closed the Sasha line forever.
Sasha\'s are no longer being made and are highly sought after
making themincreasingly hard to find as new collectors emerge.(Especially the earlier pre-1970s Sashas.)
