A nice and early Wedgwood blue and white willow pattern jam jar or condiment. It is transfer decorated all around with the traditional willow pattern of the temple, bridge, willow tree and flying birds. The willow border circles the top. The original silver plated lid which are often missing remains with the jar. The jar itself measures 3 1/4\" in height and 3\" in diameter. With the silver top on the piece measures 3 3/4\" in height. It is impressed Wedgwood and England and is marked in blue Willow Wedgwood Etruria England. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and is very finely potted. The silver plating on the lid is good with no worn areas.
