Wide Based Bronze Dutch Socket Candlestick.

I bought this in Amsterdam many years ago from a specialist dealer who traded in 17th century and early antiques. I have seen 2 other examples of the same stick and just missed out on buying one once to make a pair.

In very good original condition and left unpolished as many collectors prefer. It could be polished in next to no time, but to get it back to this condition would take years.
