East German Overcoat NVA border guard coat

East German Overcoat NVA border guard coat:

This is an East German NVA surplus overcoat, genuine Cold War relic. It is wool, possibly with some cotton or poly blend into it. Sizing is hard to tell, there\'s a tag that says \"M 44\" but it is not a 44 inch chest for certain, at least not by US reckoning. I\'d guess it\'d be about a 38 chest by US sizing.

It has on its right shoulder a blemish that appears to be from a glue of some sort, perhaps an iron-on patch that the coat\'s previous warden attempted to place. I am uncertain if that could be restored to a pristine state. Otherwise the coat has little-to-no visible wear and in good shape, all buttons in place.
