Beautiful 18 Carat gold old European cut diamond & ruby ring.

Set to the centre with a gorgeous blood red ruby that is flanked by two old cut diamonds.

The diamonds are about 4.5mm x 4mm x 3mm with a total weigh of around 0.8 carat.

They have a special beauty and fire only found in old cut stones colour I/J, clarity SI2.

The 5mm cushion cut ruby is a particularly beautiful rich red.

The stones are in a traditional gold claw setting.The substantial shank is stamped 18 ct.

This ring dates to the Victorian / Edwardian period.

The size is size R 1/2 (UK), 9 (USA) It would easily resize.

This antique ring is in excellent condition.It weighs an impressive 4.3 grams.
