A superb and unique Edwardian Art Nouveau Amethyst & fine Seed Pearl Necklace with an Amethyst & SeedPearldrop of superb quality (please study the photographs provided, which form an integral part of the item\'s description).
The colours of the Amethysts are sobeautifullyvivid that I havephotographedthem against a range of backgrounds (Iused black; light blue; white & natural light) to give you an accurate impression of how they would look against different colours and in different lights.
This finest quality Art Nouveau 9ct Gold Necklace features a stunning centrepiece of a gold flower set with six fine Pearls, which is topped by four brilliant-cut purple oval Amethysts, set within a foliate setting made up of delicate leaves each set withbeautiful Seed Pearls.
This culminates in a finely crafted golddrop hanging from the central flower bud, which continues the theme with leaves crafted in solid Gold, set with fine SeedPearlsterminating in a fifth oval brilliant-cut Amethyst.
The Necklace, which is stamped 9ct on the reverse of one of the \'flower terminals\' confirming that it is made from Solid 9ct Gold, is approx\' 42 centimetres long and the drop from the top of the upper leaf to the bottom of the drop is approx\' 43mm.
