A very elegant looking Edwardian silver plated tea and or coffee set in silver plate with ebonised handles and knops to the two main pots and very pretty plated ones to the creamer and sugar. It was made by John Round of Sheffield.
It is in very good condition to the outer with only unobtrusive needed to be searched for signs of age/wear to the gleaming silver cover to the outer however there is some spotting to the creamer and sugar and loss of finish to the inner of the teapot. The coffee/water jug has some limescale deposit to the inner. The ebonised knops and handles have a little rubbing wear but are stable and secure. The hinges to the lids work well too.
